SAFE CHILDHOOD

Fighting Child Sexual Abuse

Interactive, narrative workshops for children and adults, to fight and prevent Child Sexual Abuse through:

  • Personal Safety Education

  • First-responders training for teachers and caregivers

  • Handouts and resources

  • Medico-legal guidance if required

 

We conduct free workshops for unschooled children and government schools. We charge honorariums for conducting sessions for private organizations. We depend on paid gigs and donations to conduct free sessions with marginalized children.

We have reached 500+ children from government schools, and 200+ adults (teachers, doctors, social workers, caregivers) with our program

MUKTI

Fighting Period Poverty & Oppression

Addressing needs of menstruating children & adults from marginalized groups through awareness workshops and sustainable products

Menstrual-Sexual-Reproductive health education | Awareness on myths, taboos, stigmas | Free access to sustainable period products | Follow-up in 6 months to assess impact | Life-long, intergenerational positive impact | Medical assistance

Our generous funders Rotary Club Platinum City Bengaluru and Nariyari- The Indian Menstrual Cup have donated sets of cloth pads and period cups for all batches of Project Mukti for free distribution

​

We have reached 150+ women in informal work with free products, awareness and medical assistance.

​

UDAAN

Comprehensive Gender and Sexuality Education

Interactive sessions with young people aged 13-25 to secure a productive and fulfilling life, while safeguarding oneself from sexually transmitted illnesses, unwanted pregnancies, gender based violence, discrimination and inequalities at home, school and work.

 

According to the United Nations, Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) is central to children and young people’s health and well-being. It gives them the knowledge and skills needed to make healthy, informed, and responsible choices in their lives and promote gender equality.
